In a Daze

It must be a bad dream,
Just a while ago was too different,
Just a while ago was too blissful,
It was too normal,
I can't believe Now,
I refuse to accept Now,
It is too cruel,
God I can't believeYou are doing this to me.

My children, my hopes, my dreams, my treasures,
Now I realise the preciousness has never been greater.
Did I do wrong,
forcing the morning breakfast on you,
Did I do wrong,
nagging about the morning lateness,
Is it a punishment for my spending less time with you,
It is too cruel.

How am to carry on from here,
The emptiness is just too heavy to carry,
I can't move,
 I can't think anymore,
Every thinking hurts,
I don't want my brain anymore,
It hurts the heart too much,
This thinking that goes on and on.

Nothing seems logical,
Nothing seems reasonable,
No scientific or mathematical formulae,
Can work out the difference,
 between 'just a while ago' and 'now'.
Give me back my children,
 Give me back just a while ago,
I truly beg you God!
