A Mother's Day without mommy,
For twenty over years it have been so,
As young as ten when you began to know,
how it felt when you see your friends,
getting mommy's kisses and hugs.
A Mother's Day without mommy,
What's the point of buying a gift,
What's the point of buying flowers,
to whom I shall give?
How it hurt to feel left out in the celebration.
A Mother's Day without mommy,
Wished my ears could be shut really tight,
No more conversations about the fun and happiness,
of the celebration with their beloved mommies,
I wanted to scream out loud, ' Shut up! I am hurting!'
A Mother's Day without mommy,
The bedroom was my hiding place,
Away from all laughing and smiling faces,
Away from happy people,
Because how could I be happy without
Mommy on Mother's Day!
The End
(At last, I am happy now on Mother's Day because I am Mommy!)
