Dilemna

When your freedom is restricted,
 By traditions so encroaching,
By people who don't themselves follow
 But using them  to control,
The meek, the peaceful, the never minding
Though it's been hindering personal growth,
No social recourse,
 No spiritual fulfilment,
 A walking corpse,
Whose life and time have been sucked up
By cold, cruel hypocrites.

When You Say You Love Someone

When you say you love someone,
Be sure it is unconditional,
If not, don't say it at all.
Keep your love for your dear mean self,
Because a conditional love is one
That is stained with selfish motives.

When you say you love someone,
Make sure it is not because the music is good,
Your moods are high,
And you have had a drink of alcohol or two,
Be sure too it is not that fragrance of the perfume,
That reminded you of past romantic moments.

When you say you love someone,
Remember it means you are willing even to give up
your life to keep those words,
That you will keep on loving even if it is not reciprocated,
So, when you say you love someone,
You are taking upon yourself a difficult task,
Of which the rewards will be mostly sweet,
And don't be afraid to say 'I love you'.
